Let me give it to you straight. The better you do, the more prone you are to the pressures of your success, and the higher the probability that the external world takes you off your game.
And, let's be honest; being under pressure sucks. NO ONE likes being around, working with or working for crabby, upset and agitated people.
Look, we all have our days. But for so many of us, when our head isn't on straight, we find ourselves becoming fearful, judgmental and concerned. We start to lament "When is MY time coming?" "When will things finally click in and really go my way?"
Listen, there are definitely times when working hard and driving forward are the appropriate thing to do.
But when you come from forcing and pushing as if things are NOT going well, you activate the survival mind. That's when things start going haywire.
The antidote IS peace. Call it whatever you like: trust, flow, in the zone, fearlessness. It's all the same. It's the highly coveted state that allows uber achievers to be the calm in the middle of the storm. The trusted advisor when all hope seems lost. The leader in times of volatility.
Developing the skills to be in state of peace - what I call the All is Well state - could be one of the most underrated skills of the new breed of high-conscious go-getter entrepreneurs.
