How do you stay in a good place when you’re in financial breakdown? If you go into a bad place, you’re freaked out, scared, resentful, agitated, well, your ability to get out of the breakdown is greatly thwarted. It’s imperative that you work on getting into an optimal, optimistic, joyous state when you are in financial peril.

Now, that’s not easy to do. What I recommend that you do is, first of all, you work to accept the situation exactly as it is. So often people are in a blame game. They’re never saying, “Well, listen, I’m the one who said yes. I’m the one who made those decisions. I signed my name on the line there. I’m the one who went into this not thinking about, you know, what are the potential risks. When I signed up for this, I knew there were going to be risks.” So often we’re not owning it and saying, “Wait it was me. I did this.”

But I’ll tell you right now, one of the ways to feel good in the middle of a breakdown is to own it and say, “You know what? I did this. I made this happen. This financial disaster is me.” You do that, you start to feel good again. You start to feel powerful. You realize you’re the creator of your experience.

Another trick to staying in good spirits while you are in the middle of financial breakdown is to make sure that you forecast out what is the worst possible thing that could happen to you in this particular breakdown and you make peace with it. If you will fantasize what is the worst possible thing and then you make peace with that, you will be at peace now in the process, and that’s the goal.

How can feeling grateful help you financially? Well, the answer is very simple. Being grateful helps you to focus on the things that are working in your business. You will focus on things that make money, which means that you’re going to bolster those things, so people who are grateful find themselves taking the right action. What do I mean by right action? Well, think about it like this: If I am freaked out, pissed off, annoyed, agitated and I’m focused on how nothing is working and it’s not going right, then I’m going to be in a state of fear and doubt. And when I’m in that state, I’m not effective. My brain is not working correctly. I’m not communicating powerful and positive things. I’m not able to take actions in a way that are going to get extremely positive results.

When I’m aligned with the truth, and the truth is that life is good and that there are many aspects of my life that are working, then I say the right thing. I’m in the right place at the right time. Amazing things come out of my mouth and I’m able to make money. Will gratitude help you financially? Absolutely, yes.
