The video is simply amazing. I had read the 10/10 visualization before. But the things became very clear in this video. Thanks Mathew.
Hi Matthew, thank you, thank you, thank you,You are truly a man of inspiration living a greater life within you.I just hope you don”t get burnt out dealing with the complexity of peoples personalities.I just watched your video its great. What I do every morning ,first thing I do upon opening my eyes and smiling I state, Thank you God for my “Perfect Health, Cosmic Consciousness & Financial Freedom”. I then write 2 pages of affirmations (from Dr. John Demartini teachings), use my The Secret Gratitude book ( write down what I am grateful for). then use Brian Tracy”s Goal Book ( reinforcing my goals).See you in Orlando.
Watching this video realigned me with looking at what I love about in my life and focusing on being grateful. I especially enjoyed hearing the recomendation to review your list of items you are grateful for and the items you would like to create at the end of the day again. I have done active focus using Matthew’s 10-10 Vizualization CD in the morning but have never reviewed my list in the evening. Great idea. Great CD, which I have bought numerous copies as gifts because I find so much value in bringing me back to feeling good than the alternative mind chatter. This blog is spot on. Thank you
Hi Matt: I got a time gift from myself. I found a book bag with my notes from 2006 Success Summit where you spoke, Thach Nguyen spoke, Brian Tracy spoke and Tom Ferry spoke. Also had a legal pad with my notes from one of our Mental Journey to Millions/Academy of Influence meetings. I am still very much on the journey…life is good. All is well. Money is still something I wonder at as all of my needs are met in unexpected ways…not necessarily based on my net worth on a balance sheet that can be seen. But proven and joyfully expressed day in and day out. Someday maybe we will share such a great fellowship again in person. My group was the inaugural MJM weren’t we? I feel a reunion coming on!!!
I need to spend more time doing this. I am only just getting around to completing my dream board and need to s
spend more time doing what you say
Hi Matthew! This is an excellent video! It helped to remind me and others to refresh the memmory and put those good thoughts of the goals I have not achieved yet but will in my near future as so will others. I wrote the 10 Things I love about my life down. I also made the list of the 10 goals. This is what we all need to do and focus on for our true path and calling in life and let it all manifest by asking the universe to help us. People come into our lives for a reason. Things happen for a reason. We just have to learn from each experience and see where it can take us and where we feel right.
With gratitude, Matthew. Very helpful coaching. Helps me have clarity, focus. Loving & appreciating you…
Hello Matthew, Thank you and God Bless you for sharing all that great information, I watched the video and is great, I also started to do the 10-10 Visualization in the morning and is unbelievable how it helps to keep myself positive and I just started 4 days ago. Thank you again.
I love the fundamental of calling the mind a “drunk monkey”. It is ingrained in me by now.Thank you so much Matthew. I hope to see a lot of positivity by using ths technique for 21 days:)
Matthew,
After watching this I need to go back to the 10/10 and start doing it again. I need to do this and move past the drunk monkey in my head that keeps telling me that I’m not good enough, smart enough, etc. to achive my goals and dreams and to stop living a life of proverty and start moving toward the life of abundance that I want and deserve.
Thank Matthew, this made me think and move past the durnk monkey in my head.
awesome…..
Matthew you are so inspirational. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us all – it’s really uplifting to listen to your videos and always spurs me into taking more action. You have a real talent for making things so clear. I love your work. Thank you again!
simply enjoyed the video.listening to this video gives me great joy even in this period of difficulties.stating now my 10\10 visualization process and i hope to get a better understanding of it.thanks matthew.
So much wisdom in only 6 minutes ! Discovering what I love about my life will be such fun instead of focusing on what is wrong . Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas & wealth of wisdom .
Hi Matthew:) I have been doing the 10/10 visualization ever since I met you in 2007. This visualization really puts things into place and makes me realize how good I have it and how lucky I am. If one doesn’t take time to see all the good one has, there is a great tendency to dwell on things that we think should be different!!!
It is sabsolutely amazing just WHAT miracles happen!!!! I am the observer and watch my wish turn up in front of my eyes. Also since 2007 I have miracle books (in the mean time). I am on my 4th book of daily miracles. It is just awing to see some of the miracles that happen and just so comforting to be able to be greatful about all the good things happening in my life. Of course every day is not the same. And some days one just can’t jump over one’s shadow. That’s the time one really needs to work on being in a happy state and most of all declaring it perfect (and it is. I always see it a while later). Reading the book of miracles really helps. When one is in a happy state the universe just opens up. I know it sounds easier than it is but with much practice it becomes easier. I have been accomanying you here in Germany via the internet since our first meeting in California and I would be absolutely lost without you. You are my miracle worker nd my inspiration!!!! You really make a difference in the world. You touch our hearts and inspire us and we carry that on with the people around us! thank you soooooo much for everything! God bless you!
Love ALL your stuff Matthew. But, I’ve got the stealth,Taliban of Drunk Monkeys. Started (over again) with the 10/10 2 days ago…little nuggets of the joy emerging.
Thanks Matt
Very clearly explained. Good stuff.
Hi Matthew, Just came across your site for the first time today.
I’d like to express appreciation for the work you are doing, because I don’t find many people giving freely their time and effort to people in a way like you are doing.
I have been spending the last year trying to do my part in creating mental wellness awareness.
I personally will be spreading your links on face book as I really agree with these principles to. I believe your videos will be very helpful to the thousands of people I have come in contact with on face book.
Must mention though that I have a slightly different concept to the negative and positive mind-set.
In your video you mention that the positive mind-set pattern is not normal to the human mind (at least this is what I think I understood from it) because it is wired to self preservation and self protection.
I am of the school of thought that we are all born with a natural ability to think positively and appreciate our positive experience.
However If life experiences causes us to neglect practicing the use of this ability it naturally becomes weak. So we naturally default to the negative perspective.
This is no different from the muscle wastage that occurs if a person fails to use their limbs. The muscles are still there, but they are not strong enough to function adequately.
Using your 10/10 method is a great way to exercise those positive thinking muscles, which is why I believe the technique works, and will work for anyone who is patient enough to put it to practice.
In end the, Ii think all that matters is that people practice the technique.
Whish you best of luck in your efforts.
Adewale, your comment inspires me to do more thank you for your acknowledgement.
My goal is to raise the consciousness of the planet and assist people in living in a state of happiness and peace so they can experience success in life.
I actually agree with your thought that the mind has the capacity for positive thought 100%. You are correct. I simply request people see The Drunk Monkey (my nickname for the mind) for what it is: a non stop talking machine that wants to survive in a world where it will die no matter how much it talks
From there people realize the mind is a great tool. Then from there they graduate to realizing the mind is to be transcended. I wish to assist as many people as I can in this realization.
Thank you for spreading the word. Thank you for your thoughtful comments.
Robert, probably a good idea to go back through my free 15 strategies that get you inspired to keep the stealth Drunk Monkey under control. Check that out here http://www.15strategies.com
Matthew,
Thank you for the inspiring and “grounding” message. Often times I get stuck in the mode of wishing for what I don’t have – which is in fact creating more of what I don’t have! To slow down and thank God and the Universe for the blessings I have is essential for me to feel good about my life – not bad! So thank you for the reminder – your contributions are appreciated (see I am walking my type LOL!)
