How To Make The World More Positive

A reader asked, “What do you think is the best way to diffuse positive energy to other people around the world?”

Here’s my answer:  The first thing to remember is that there are few people in this world who are actually interested in positive energy.  Most people are in a state of survival, which means positive feelings are very low on the priority list.  The world becomes a more positive place when you practice total and complete acceptance of all people, in all situations at all times.  This means even accepting those people who are negative and follows with understanding that resisting negative people is forwarding negativity.

Well said. It’s a whole different state of consciousness. I love the idea of accepting people for where they are instead of resisting them. It has taken a lot of frustration out of my life for wanting people to be something they weren’t. To realize that we are all on different parts of our journey is empowering. The stress just seems to melt.

Yes, I agree, ACCEPTANCE is the key!

But, how do you accomplish that? Sit in lotus position and mediate on the topic? … or what is the secret?

It’s not like we want to go through this journey/life being stressed by those arund us…

I propose a solution – it is not my solution, but it changed my relationships with everyone around me, and now I took on the role of a messanger and help others become more accepting with those around them…

It’s been known for at least two thousand years that there are four temperament/personality styles; and once you learn to recognize them, it is sooo much easier to accept them. You think less of others as crazy, strange, silly, etc., but more of “Ah, so s/he is of a different personality style…”

Here are the four main styles and a simple way to recognize each style (we could call them any name – I use the names I learned in my training on the topic):

Dominance (D) – fast paced and task oriented
Outspoken and determined, D’s are dynamic, goal-oriented people who like to take charge, bring quick decisions, and want quick results

Influence (I) – fast paced and people oriented
Enthusiastic and friendly, I’s are outgoing, high-energy people who like to influence others with their wit, humor, and persuasive skills

Steadiness (S) – moderate paced and people oriented
Caring and supportive, S’s are calm and kind people, who are great at providing support and comfort to others, follow rules, are great listeners and great team players.

Conscientiousness (C) – moderate paced and task oriented
Cautious and detail-oriented, C’s are focused and dependable people who love to work with tasks and concepts; like to plan their work and are committed to quality and accuracy in all areas.

Once you recognize these four personality styles around you – each with their unique communication style – then it’ll be much easier to accept them, AND even APPRECIATE them.

The beauty of it is that each personality style has their unique strengths, and once we understand this, we can try to focus on those strengths and accept the behaviors that we PERCIEVE as weaknesses.

So well said after this thought there is no bad emotions left and feeling of love and calmness. And empowers to take out all causes of difference. If we apply this jut to all our family and co- workers it will write a whole lot different storey.

E.G. – I love your practical solution to acceptance. I agree completely. To accept people in the most practical sense is to agree with with their point of view or style. I do this by mimicking mirroring and matching. It’s a technique I learned from NLP. I write all about it in my book Creating Sales Velocity.
