One of my clients has been a real estate investor for the last 10 years. He lost everything in the last year. It is turning out to be the biggest blessing of his life. “I feel so free!” he tells me all the time.
“What do you want to do now?” I keep asking him.
His knee jerk response is always about making more money, doing more projects and figuring out how to get back on top again. “Why? What will all of that do?” I keep pressing him. And over and over he keeps going back to, “Someday I will just let everything go and travel the world in a carefree manner!”.

You have never been more free! You have never been less obligated!!
I’ve been having this conversation with him for one year and today was the first time he popped. He realized that someday is today. He’s got nothing left to lose. He’s got no other obligations. Now is the time. Not someday.
