Here’s a question a client asked, “How do you stay in a good place when your dreams don’t seem to be materializing the way you want?”
Two words: Commitment and acceptance.
When you are committed to something, and the result is not happening, you are flexible. You keep trying new approaches, you stay alert to new opportunities and new information that will lead you to your goal. Your commitment drives things forward.
When you stay in a state of acceptance, the ups and downs of life don’t throw you for a loop. Acceptance helps you to be open to the new ways that what you want will show up.
You are not a psychic. You don’t know how your goals and dreams will show up. Just stay committed and accept what is happening and you will achieve in a more balanced and peaceful state.

As a life coach, part of my job is to hold my clients accountable to the goals they have set. Every year we create a vision for what the year is going to be like. Then I work with them to create quarterly goals which I measure and monitor for them. Most of my clients can achieve between 70-80% of what they write down, even when it seems like a stretch at the time.
Recently a client of mine only achieved 48%. I wasn’t shocked. He had spent the entire quarter in fear and avoiding facing the financial disasters he had created for himself. The more he avoided, the worse everything else in his life seemed to get. When you are avoiding what you don’t want, you bring it upon you.
The benefit of measuring your goals is the feedback. When you see yourself achieving so little, it wakes you up and makes you open to seeking the truth.
The truth is you make yourself ineffective and inoperable when you are in a retracted avoidance state and your dreams will allude you.

There is an absolute accountability system in your world. The Law of Attraction. You are the creator of your experience and not the victim of your circumstances. If you are feeling victimized it’s only because you are receiving a benefit by giving your power away. The Law of Attraction Works both ways.
1. What you enjoy, you attract. What feels good comes to you over time. Whether it’s in its exact form or just its essence, it always comes. Whether it takes 10 seconds or 5 decades, it always comes.
2. What annoys you, you attract. What feels bad comes to you over time. What you focus on comes to you whether you want it or not.
This is why I teach happiness, harmony and peace. When you feel those things and you focus on what you want, you always get the most perfect versions of what you want.
When you indulge The Drunk Monkey and let it run your life, you generally feel bad. Even when what you want is coming. This makes your miracles and manifestations less enjoyable and slows down the process.
