A client wrote in,
“Hi Matthew, What do I do, I’ve been working this job that I really like but it’s strictly commission until I get my first deal, then I get hourly plus commission which is good. I’ve got several clients on the edge interested in paying for our services but no one has signed up yet. This is a job that I really like, it gives me flexibility, I enjoy it and want to continue working, but I’m pretty much out of money and getting behind on my bills. How long do I continue towards my goal in the face of losing everything? How do I know if I’m going in the right direction? I know anything could change at any moment but if things don’t change soon, my situation could become really uncomfortable. Do I just go get a more secure job and give up my flexibility and what I want to do?”
I’m not a big fan of creating stress. For some people it really works. For most it seems to kill their mindset and subsequently their performance. I would advise three things.
1. Sit down with your boss and get an honest assessment of your performance and what you can expect.
2. Consider getting a part-time job that will still give you time to fill your pipeline and make the sales you want.
3. Consider cutting everything nonessential out of the budget to give yourself more time to make that first sale.
Manifesting is infinitely easier when you are in a calm peaceful state. Running out of money puts you into a panic which makes you attached to the outcome and ultimately leads to being manipulative. If you are truly committed to making it work, then make what you have now work in your life so you can be at ease.

I delegated a trip to Mammoth Lakes California for a snow boarding trip between Christmas and New Year’s Day. I focused on getting a place for my entire family and nanny (seven people).
Over and over I got places to stay for me plus one. Finally in while in Naples with my wife this week she told me that she wanted to fly her sister and kids out over at that time to hang out with our kids.
Ah ha! That’s what was going on. I already admitted a couple blog posts ago that I wanted to just take my son Trevor. Naturally the Universe/God gives you the truth of your goals, not the “Looking good” or “Trying to please everyone” goals.
You always get what you truly want, even when you don’t want to admit it.
My intentions for today have already come true. I got on a plane this morning at 7am EST and arrived home at 12 noon PST.
We set several intentions as a family for the trip and visualized ourselves experiencing it. We intended easy, effortless, enjoyable, safe and uneventful travel. It was exactly that. Which is a miracle given we had two flights that were nearly three hours each and we were flying with a 21-month, 7, 8 & 14 year-old boys. But my guys are master manifesters.
Delegations:
I am so thankful to God for giving me the most appealing web brand, look and feel for the revision of my new www.matthewferry.com site or something better.
I am so thankful to God for helping me to carve out some time to start writing my new book, Ridiculous Bliss or something better.

In an effort to inspire a community of 1300 people who are taking my current class, Instant Manifestation Now, I am documenting my personal intentions and delegations each day.
Intentions are the feeling or experience I want to have in my life. I like to write them in this way:
I intend to feel energized today. I intend to be present to my children. I intend to be at play. I intend to be loving.
Delegations are the specific measurable results I want to achieve. I am clear that I can only set the conditions for my results to occur. The final result is up to a higher power. I take the actions consistent with my goals and then trust that the best outcome will occur. So I write it in this way as an expression of my thought process.
I am so thankful to God for providing the guidance and instruction to necessary to have 450 people registered for my new Inspired Action Weekly program by the end of 2010 or something better.
I am so thankful to God for introducing me to groups and people who will expose me to the biggest players in the world who are interested in expanding their consciousness or something better.

For the next seven days I’m writing my intentions and delegations publicly on my blog as a commitment to my students.
Why Write Your Intentions & Delegations?
I write my intentions and delegations every day to keep my mind focused on the results that I’m committed to. Some days I write my big giant results. Other days I focus on incremental results that I’d like to see that day. Some days I repeat what I wrote the day before. Most days I write something new. I don’t like writing the same thing over and over because it agitates my mind and allows it to worry. The following are my intentions and delegations:
Intentions:
I intend to feel energized today. I intend to feel empowered today. I intend to feel connected and loving towards everyone today. I intend to feel inspired today. I intend to feel creative today.
Delegations (specific results I’m delegating to the higher power):
I am so thankful to God for providing the guidance and creativity I need to have Inspired Action Weekly be the most innovative, inspiring and empowering on-line automated coaching program ever created or something better.
I am so thankful to God for introducing me to influencers who I can teach The Power of Contribution Game to so they can then pass it on to millions of people all over the planet or something better.
I am so thankful to God for providing me with the perfect solution for automating voice-mail blasts, text messages, email, accounting and client tracking all in one place or something better.

I’m teaching a class to 1300 people called Instant Manifestation Now. The purpose of the class is to manifest your wildest dreams. In the class I ask my participants to write intentions and delegations every day to help clarify goals and dreams.
First I ask people to dream big. What would be something so amazing and life-altering that when it manifests life is never the same again?
From there we figure out how it would feel and what the experience would be once it was complete. I call this your true intention. In the end you want to feel and experience life. If you keep asking yourself, “What’s important about that?” over and over, you will discover that every goal is designed to produce a feeling or experience. So why not just be honest and intend to feel that way now? So that’s why I ask people to write their intentions daily.
Once you are clear about how you want to feel, why not go for the dream? So delegate the specific measurable results to the universe.
I admitted to my students that I had only written my intentions and delegations once last week and committed to writing them every day on my blog as an accountability. So here they are:
Intentions:
I intend to feel creative. I intend to feel inspired. I intend to be inspiring. I intend to be totally present to each person I talk to.
Delegations (I like to write them in my own unique way so hang in there with me):
I am so thankful to God for lining up 10 joint venture partners who will mail to one million people to launch my Inspired Action Weekly Coaching Program in January or something better.
I am so thankful to God for providing my family and I with an amazing, convenient, perfect and free place to stay in Mammoth Lakes California between Christmas and New Years or something better.
What are your intentions and delegations? Let’s do them together.
